The service charge, by plan
The service charge covers printing, stuffing, addressing, and hand-off to USPS the same business day. It is the only price that depends on your plan.
Free
$4.05 per recipient
No monthly fee. Up to 3 users. Every mailing option included.
Premium
$2.05 per recipient
$18 a month, or $162 a year. Unlimited users, plus the searchable audit log.
Premium pays for itself at 9 recipients a month. Below that, Free is the cheaper plan.
USPS service
Charged once per recipient, according to the service you pick for that recipient. You can mix services within one mailing.

Every First-Class and Certified Mail recipient. Certified Mail travels as First-Class.

Postage, by weight
First-Class and Certified pieces pay $0.35 per ounce, and the weight follows the number of sheets in the envelope. Most letters are one ounce. Priority Mail includes its postage and is not charged by the ounce.

What do I pay for each letter?
Each recipient is charged a service charge that covers printing, stuffing, and hand-off to USPS, plus the USPS service you choose, postage by weight, and any add-ons such as an electronic return receipt or a return envelope. Every line is itemized before you submit.
Do I need a paid plan to send mail?
No. The Free plan has no monthly fee and includes every mailing option. The Premium plan lowers the service charge on every recipient, so it pays for itself once a firm sends enough mail in a month.
When am I charged?
Nothing is charged until you submit a mailing. The mail you send is billed to the payment method on file, and a payment method is required to send mail on every plan, including Free.
What happens if USPS does not collect a signature?
If USPS fails to collect a signature on a mailing sent with a return receipt, the certified postage for that piece is credited back to your account.
Will the price I see here match what I am billed?
