Search your Clio contacts from the mail form and the address fills itself in. MatterSnail also shows the matters the contact is on, so the right matter is one click away when the cost is logged.
Attach straight from the matter
Browse a matter's documents and add the PDF to the mailing without downloading and re-uploading it. A Clio Documents page in the sidebar starts a mailing from the document itself.
The cost lands back on the matter
Once the mailing can no longer be canceled, MatterSnail posts its final, itemized cost to the matter as an expense and adds a note recording that the letter was mailed. A canceled mailing never reaches Clio.

What does MatterSnail read from Clio?
Contacts and their addresses, matters, and the documents on a matter, and only when you pick one for a mailing. Nothing is copied or synced in the background.
When does the expense reach the Clio matter?
Once the mailing can no longer be canceled. MatterSnail then posts the final, itemized cost to the matter you chose as an expense, in the expense category you chose, and adds a note recording that the letter was mailed. A canceled mailing never reaches Clio.
Does MatterSnail store my Clio data?
It stores the credentials for the connection, the contacts, matters, and documents you choose to import, and a record of the expenses and notes it sends back. The connection is per user and can be disconnected at any time from Settings.
